Dr. Adedeji Olugboja is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business and Economics at the School of Business and Information Systems. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma and MSc in Information Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria, and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of South Africa. With a strong foundation in industry, Dr. Olugboja has served in various technical and managerial roles including Database Administrator, Data Manager, and Principal Data Processing Officer. He transitioned to academia as an Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University South Africa, then joined Eswatini Medical Christian University, where he advanced to the rank of Senior Lecturer. His research focuses on image classification, machine learning, deep learning, citation analysis, information retrieval, and data mining. He has authored numerous publications that enhance the performance of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, particularly for detection and classification tasks. In recent years, Dr. Olugboja has expanded his work to include the application of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare, leveraging predictive modeling and intelligent systems to support diagnostics and improve health outcomes.
