Come watch as the planet Mercury passes over the face of the Sun (weather permitting)!

• Known as a transit, the planet will be apparent as a tiny silhouette on the luminous face of the Sun.
• York astronomer Tim Paglione will have equipment set up for safe viewing of the Sun and Mercury all morning long, so any time you pass through the plaza before 1pm on Nov 11, stop to witness this nearly once-in-a-lifetime occurrence!
