2022 Southeast Queens Biennial, January 15 - February 27, 2021

The 2022 Southeast Queens Biennial is focused on New York City area artists who work primarily with abstraction.

This year’s iteration, the third to be hosted by York College’s Art Gallery, will include installations at the historic King Manor Museum, a short distance from the CUNY campus. Each site was curated by Rejin Leys, who has participated in past Biennials and is deeply involved in the Jamaica arts community.

The imagined environments of abstract visual art are often challenging, but always engaging. The 2022 Southeast Queens Biennial exhibits work in all its diverse manifestations by contemporary abstract artists.
