Book Launch: Challenged Sovereignty by Dr. Ivelaw L. Griffith
As part of our Celebration of Black History Month, join us as we welcome Dr. Ivelaw Lloyd Griffith to discuss his new book, Challenged Sovereignty: The Impact of Drugs, Crime, Terrorism, and Cyber Threats in the Caribbean.
Dr. Griffith is the originator of Geonarcotics (the way to study the complex relationship involving drugs, geography, power, and politics), recipient of the 2015 Dr. William J. Perry Award for Excellence in Security and Defense Education and former Provost and Senior VP of Academic Affairs at York College.
The discussion will be moderated by Dr. George White, Jr., Interim Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, and Dr. Michael Sharpe, Professor of Political Science, Department of Behavioral Sciences.
