Air Cargo Management

BUS236 (Not Liberal Arts) Air Cargo Management 3 hrs. 3 crs. This course will present the management practices and problems involved in the air cargo industry. The class will discuss the background of the industry, its diversity of services, facilities and the role competition plays in the industry. The course will include a discussion of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), rate and tariff problems, and an overview of dangerous goods regulations. Field trips will be made to such places as an air cargo terminal, and an airfreight fowarder. Preq: ENG 125 and BUS 230
