Wireless Connections on Campus

The latest technological upgrade at York College has afforded us with a new wireless network.

With wireless connections located in lecture halls, the library, and public areas, the network broadens accessibility to the College computing facilities and Internet resources and aides in the support of instruction and research. The Wireless Network (WLAN), which uses 802.11b access points (AP), enables students, faculty, and staff wireless access to Internet resources from their laptops and desktops.
