Bryan Graves

Started his radio journey at DeVry College in Columbus, Ohio, and brings twenty-plus (20+) years of industry knowledge in programming, formatting, structuring, and traffic control to YCRadio at CUNY/York College in Jamaica, New York.

He worked as a board operator as an on-air DJ at WRKL in Pomona, New York, and gained experience in Administration at WTHE in Mineola, New York. In addition, he interned as a phone operator for Mix 102.7 while performing data and music entries in the music library at SiriusXM Radio in NYC Rockefeller Center. Lastly, on-air DJ for The Morning Drive at WNYG, 1440 AM in Babylon, New York.

Currently, Bryan is the General Manager of YCRadio and the board operator/engineer at WGBB 1240 AM / 95.9 FM, Long Islands’ first radio station.

Bryan states, “I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with the college community in the art of radio broadcast communications.”

Lisa Ray

Lisa Ray is from Jamaica Queens and lives in close proximity to York College. She has a multifaceted background having worked on Wall Street for almost 30 years in various capacities while servicing the community as a Comedy Promoter for over two decades. In the past 15 years, Lisa has worked with Youth in her community and High Schools. Three years ago she made a decision to work in education connecting to her desire to serve and empower young adults. She is an avid lover of the arts and writes songs, poetry, skits, short stories, and the like. Lisa formerly hosted a show in the late eighties on WNWK, has served as MC for tons of events over the years, and produced events such as music and comedy.

Currently, she is co-host and producer of Radio1WorldFestGlobal which is an information outlet to empower the community and give the opportunity for the millennial generation to express their talent and concerns while being supported by a culturally diverse staff.

Lisa brings her business experience in promotions, marketing, customer service, creative writing, and positive energy to YCRadio!
