Applicants who have completed post secondary work with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher, may file a non-degree application and submit Registrar issued copies of transcripts from all post secondary institutions attended. If the cumulative grade point average falls below 2.0, the applicant will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and will be required to submit "official" transcripts from all institutions attended. Under no circumstances will grade reports be accepted.
Freshmen may apply for non-degree status by submitting a copy of the high school transcript and proof of graduation or GED diploma.
In addition to satisfying the requirements above, applicants educated abroad must submit educational documents with certified English translations.
Note: All non-degree applicants must take and pass the CUNY Assessment Tests or be otherwise exempt.
