To support our commitment to disaster preparedness, York College Department of Public Safety has recently joined the New York City Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Partners in Preparedness (PIP) Program, which helps organizations prepare their employees, services, and facilities for disasters.
York College, CUNY can now add alumna Danielle S. Blount ’01 to its list of distinguished alumni in law. She was recently sworn in as Commissioner of Family Court, in Delaware.
Following a national search, Dr. Charles Gengler has been appointed Dean of the School of Business and Information Systems. Dr. Gengler is a Professor of Marketing with numerous publications and invited talks. Professor Gengler comes to York after more than 20 years of distinguished academic appointments, at least 15 years of which were spent at Baruch College/CUNY.
