My name is Celine Daniel and I am a senior majoring in Accounting. For the past three years at York College, I have been involved in programs and organizations where my role is to serve students and the community. Such programs are the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, National Society of Leadership and Success and being a Peer Mentor to name a few. I spent the past academic year in Student Government being their Parliamentarian. It was my will and goal to be involved on campus where I can hear the needs of someone and offer guidance in the best way possible. I am an active student ready to make an impact through my involvement. I want to be elected in the next upcoming Student Government because I strive to do more for all our diverse students and for York College before I graduate and move further in life. Being the voice of students and knowing that I can impact someone's life in some way reassures me that York will always be my home.

"When the world around us changes for the worse, it's not just the snap of fingers which will bring it back to the earlier position, it will take courage, thinking, team-work & sacrifices to bring normalcy to the chaos." (Avengers fan, 2019). I'm Wayne Dawkins and I want to be in SGA to help us transition into normal despite all this chaos. My major is political science with a minor in environmental science. Give thanks to those who paved a way for us as we pave a way for others. Vote for me to pave a way for all students to become more involved on campus issues.

I am a sophomore at York College pursuing Nursing, while on a Health Science minor. I believe that I would be a good candidate for Senate as I have not only joined many organizations and clubs, but I have also made friends with many different people on campus and heard their voice. I have held positions throughout my high school experience as Student Council, Student Prefect, and Student Representative, which have shaped who I am as an individual and student advocate. My main goal for this campaign is to make sure that everyone has a voice and everyone is heard no matter their race, gender, sexuality, ethnic background, or the language that they speak. I look forward to working with each and every individual on campus and making their college experience exceptional. Sapre Aude, Incipe!

If I am elected you can expect that student voices are heard at all levels of York and CUNY. I will ensure that we have an inclusive and interactive campus where all students feel free to voice their opinion. I will champion the transparency of all administrative and student government services. Throughout, my tenure as an executive board member of the National Society of Leadership and Success I have gained enough experience to understand what it means to lead and organized a group of people to achieve a collective goal. Let’s work together to achieve success.

“Be LOUD about the things that are important to you ”- Karen Walron. My name is Tiandra Thompson a freshman here at York College. I am a member of the student body at York and I hear the concerns of the students, those of which I share and they have motivated me to be apart of the change. It is important for me to be a voice that advocates for my peers. I live by three words that inspire me to work hard: focus, dedication, and perseverance. I want to see real change that benefits not only the school but the students that attend it. I took the liberty to do research on the changes students want to see happen at York College and drafted solutions I believe will be helpful. Together, we have the means to create the change we wish to see.

I am a junior at York College, majoring in Biology.  I would like to be the person that my fellow students come to when there is a problem on hand. I have good relationships with some faculty and campus police and will make it my priority to build those relationships even further. I will always have an open-door policy which allows me to be open to new ideas and thoughts that anyone has. Being a junior, I know the pros and unfortunately cons of York College, so I've already been through what most upper class students have and would like to make it a better place for incoming freshmen, and returning sophomores, juniors and seniors. I’ve heard what many of you have already spoken to me about such as professors, bathrooms, and cafeteria, and I will make sure that collectively as students we are heard. I look forward to working with all my fellow students and creating a relationship with as many of you as I can.
