S.T.E.M. Initiative - Robotics

The York College Male Initiative Program introduces its newest S.T.E.M. Initiative - Robotics!

In an effort to introduce students from our targeted population to the various ways that science, technology, engineering and mathematics can be applied to possible career opportunities, the York College Male Initiative Program, along with One Hundred Black Men, Inc., have teamed up to offer a robotics program.

Throughout the year, students have a chance to work on various levels of the program, which include:

  • First Lego League
  • First Tech Challenge
  • Arduino Robots

Students that want even more excitement are invited to be part of our FTC team, and compete against other organizations for prizes!

Activities and events of the York College Male Initiative Program, part of the City University of New York's Black Male Initiative, is open to all students regardless of race, gender, national origin or other characteristic.
