Kenneth G. Adams Memorial Scholarship

To provide talented and deserving students the opportunity to pursue an education with an emphasis in music performance and/or music education.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-Time Student (Must be registered for at least 12 credits)
  • Majoring in Music
  • Minimum of 3.25 GPA or higher at the time of application
  • Must be an Junior or Senior
  • Live in the Tristate area
  • Able to read music, sing and/or play an instrument with an emphasis in jazz
  • Essay: Why Did You Decide to Major in Music?

Amount

$1000 ($500 for Fall; $500 for Spring)

I understand that all the information contained in this application will be treated confidentially an will be used for institutional purposes.
I hereby give York College permission to share my name with the scholarship Donor if I am selected as the scholar recipient.
I understand that my application will not be processed until the recommendation form and a recommendation letter from a York faculty in Performing and Fine Arts have been returned to the ScholarshipApplications@york.cuny.edu inbox before the deadline. (Link to download recommendation form will be available once the application is submitted)

One letter of recommendation is required from a York faculty in Performing and Fine Arts in addition to the completion of the RECOMMENDATION FORM and return them to: ScholarshipApplications@york.cuny.edu
