MUS270 (Liberal Arts) Introduction to Ethnomusicology 3 hrs. 3 crs. An introduction to ethnomusicological theories and practices. Musics will be studied within their cultural and historical contexts. Regions of investigation may include (but are not limited to): Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean, South America, and Oceania. Preq: ENG 126. Not open to students with credit in ANTH 270.
