MATH190 (Liberal Arts) Computers in Modern Society 4 hrs. 4 crs. Introduction to computer programming, using the language BASIC; solution of simple problems in many fields to broaden the students view of the capabilities of the computer; an overview of current computer systems, software, and trends. Preq: MATH 102, the equivalent, or placement exam. Not credited toward fulfillment of Mathematics major requirements. Not open to students with credit in MATH 191.
