Dr. Stephanie Store's experience in nursing and as a Family Nurse Practitioner serving patients within the community developed her passion for teaching, service, and scholarship. Dr. Store received the Most Distinguished Adjunct Award from York College nursing department in 2016. After her decision to join York College as full-time nursing faculty in 2018 she has been the recipient of two Professional Staff Congress - City University of New York Traditional A grants and was approved to conduct a two studies for a federally funded project Holistic Study of Health Disparities Initiative (HSHDI) grant, one as a primary PI and the other as a Co- PI with the social work and occupational therapy departments faculty.
