Maureen Becker, PT, DHSc Dean, School of Health Sciences and Professional Programs, Interim Dean, School of Business and Information Systems at York College/CUNY. Licensed Physical Therapist, Exercise Physiology Masters, Health Sciences Doctorate. Strong leadership skills, consistent scholarly work, professional organizational involvement. Scholarly focus: education, health promotion, mentorship, and career preparedness/readiness. Internal and external grant funding of $3.9 million, funding sources: Federal Earmark, NYC Human Resources Administration, NY State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, Petrie Foundation and numerous CUNY Initiatives. Extensive accreditation experience (initial and reaccreditations). Involvement/expansion of community partnerships. Contributions to other initiatives/projects (accelerated CLS program with NYU-Langone partner, new cohort program, Gerontology Certificate, and the Occupational Therapy Seating and Mobility Clinic).
