Kim Glickman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work. She previously served as the director of field work in the BS program and is currently serving as the BS program interim director. Dr. Glickman holds a PhD and MSW and a Master of Public Policy degree. Her research focuses primarily on prolonged grief disorder, mental health in college students and psychotherapy outcomes. Prior to joining the faculty at York College, Dr. Glickman worked in the field of outpatient mental health in public agency settings as well as privately. She also served as a coordinator for domestic violence services in Dutchess County, NY and as a domestic violence counselor in the Bronx. Dr. Glickman has been trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and Complicated Grief Treatment, both of which she currently practices.
