"Introduction to Scientific Literature in Psychology" (now PSY 230), The course teaches students about: popular vs. scientific sources, primary vs. secondary sources, the format and sections of an APA style original research paper, how to read, interpret and evaluate published scientific papers.
"Career Directions for Psychology Majors" (currently under development), This course will provide students with information about career directions, encourage professional development, and guide students through the creation of a personalized career success plan (planning for coursework, field work/internship experiences, resume building, interviewing skills etc.).
