Humans are emotional creatures. Storytelling describes the social and cultural activity of sharing stories, sometimes with improvisation, theatrics, or embellishment. Every culture has its own stories or narratives, which are shared as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation or instilling moral values.

That's why we are looking for Latino/a Story Tellers! We want to ensure you are telling your stories the way they should be told. You can prepare a 5-minute story about a true personal story that honors the Latino/a experience; a folk or family story/traditions passed down from generation to generation; or a story that can foster opportunities and shine a light upon positive contributions, because your contributions are valuable! Storytelling is important because it is effective at teaching in a way that people can easily remember, and at helping people relate to one another.
