York Students: Apply for Project CHANGE and Earn Tuition Assistance

The CUNY Creative Arts Team (CAT) has been awarded major five-year funding from the New York State Department of Health for a program that will involve selected students from York College.

Through Project CHANGE, (Community Health Action in Neighborhoods for Growth and Empowerment), CAT will develop, train, and mentor a cohort of CHANGE Agents - student leaders from York and Medgar Evers College.

The students will work closely together throughout the 2010-11 school year to work on projects that will help to promote sexual health throughout the community.  Students who are selected for this wonderful opportunity will receive a stipend, as well as a tuition grant at the end of the year.

Due to funding limitations, students who will be sophomores or juniors at York College and Medgar Evers College in September 2010 are eligible to apply.  Health and Physical Education students are especially encouraged to apply.
