Alumna of the Class of 2018 Passes away

Dr. Margarita wants the college community to know of the passing of her former student Myriam Stella Gómez Rueda.

"After two years of battling cancer, Myriam Stella passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022 at the age of 52," Dr. Drago reported. "Myriam graduated with honors in 2018 and obtained a BA in Spanish/Childhood Education with Bilingual Extension."

Dr. Drago added that, Ms. Gómez Rueda "had the opportunity to work with young children and devoted her life to their education with love and passion. Those who had the honor to know her, know that she lead a courageous, inspiring and admirable life. We all will miss her and will keep forever, her lovely memory."

Professor Drago says join her along with York colleagues and alumni to pay last tribute to Myriam Stella on the following dates:
