Tuition and Fee Payment Due Dates

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION
As you register for Winter 2015 and/or Spring 2015 courses, please be reminded of the tuition and fee payment due dates as published on your CUNYfirst welcome screen:
If you register for Winter 2015: Payment is due:
- November 20 through December 3, 2014 December 11, 2014 by 12:00pm*
- December 4 through January 1, 2015 January 1, 2015 by 11:59pm*
- After January 1, 2015 Immediately*
If you register for Spring 2015: Payment is due:
- November 20 through December 9, 2014 December 15, 2014 by 12:00pm*
- December 10 through January 7, 2015 January 16, 2015 by 12:00pm*
- January 8 through January 27, 2015 Immediately**
*Deregistration may occur on or any time after this date
**CLASSES WILL NOT BE DEREGISTERED FOR STUDENTS WHO REGISTER FOR THE FIRST TIME ON OR AFTER JANUARY 8, 2015. STUDENTS WHO WISH NOT TO ATTEND THE COLLEGE MUST DROP THEIR COURSES ON CUNYFIRST BY JANUARY 27, 2015 TO AVOID A TUITION LIABILITY.
Payment plans, through HigherOne, formerly known as SallieMae, are available for the spring 2015 semester only. Students cannot use the payment plan to pay for winter courses. Representatives will not be on campus. Students must sign up online at www.tuitionpay.com/cuny. The deadline to join the payment plan is January 9, 2015.
The Bursar's Office is currently accepting tuition and fee payments. The quickest and most efficient way to pay your tuition and fees is online. You may choose to pay online with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover), eCheck and eSavings. A convenience fee of 2.65% is charged for each credit card payment, but using the eCheck and eSavings options are free. Credit cards are not accepted at the Bursar's Office service window, but cash, certified checks and money orders are accepted.
Noted below are the Bursar's Office hours:
When classes are in session:
Monday and Thursday 9:00am to 6:30pm
Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm
When classes are not in session:
Monday through Thursday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm
The Bursar's Office has taken great strides in going green. You will find that the majority of our correspondence is sent via email. If you have not already, please claim your York email account by clicking this link: http://www.york.cuny.edu/it/webteam/live . Technical assistance is also available at the Help Desk, which is located in our library.
Please make sure that all of your outstanding debts have been paid in full to prevent a Bursar negative service indicator from appearing on your account. Such negative service indicator will inhibit you from receiving services from the college, which include but are not limited to registering for future semesters and receiving copies of your transcript. And remember, don't stand in line when you can pay online.
