Adjunct Communication Technology Professor Ryan Seslow is bringing attention to Deaf Awareness Month through a creative blog post on the CUNY Academic Commons. Through his post, he hopes to "spread awareness about Deaf culture, what it means to be Deaf & Hard of Hearing (HofH)."

"I'm a Deaf and Hard of Hearing college professor teaching here in CUNY. This post is about representation, advocacy, and awareness." -Ryan Seslow

Seslow's post features a wide variety of resources including websites you can use to learn American Sign Language(ASL), How to include the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in Art and How to make your Zoom sessions captioned.

Ryan Seslow sits with several art pieces.
