Important Message to the Community
For the safety of our community, we will continue to keep the campus CLOSED (all buildings) on THURSDAY March 19th. Unless otherwise notified, faculty, staff and students should stay home. All should be telecommuting and supporting the transition to online learning tomorrow. We will continue to clean all campus buildings.
Tomorrow, we officially “switch” to Distance Learning. All faculty and students will resume educational and instructional activities using distance learning methods. During the instructional recess all faculty and students were invited and participated in distance learning training modules to become ready for the transition.
Again, to reiterate the medical guidance: if you experience symptoms such as a fever, cough and difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, please seek medical attention. If you do not have a health care provider and are concerned about exposure, please call the NYC COVID-19 hotline (888-364-3065). Your safety and health are my priority. If you have particular concerns, please contact the Campus COVID-19 liaison, Dana Trimboli at email@example.com
My thoughts are with the entire campus and CUNY community as we navigate this uncharted territory. Please continue to visit the York College website and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) which is updated with the latest information.
