End of Semester Message from Interim President Eanes

Dear Students,

As this challenging semester comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to commend you, our students, on your resilience for quickly adapting to the distance-learning modality. During that shift, you may have encountered technological issues, medical concerns, or fiscal pressures, but you continued your academic work. I am very proud of your determination.

For those who are graduating, we congratulate you on this momentous accomplishment. As I have said before, graduation is postponed, it is not cancelled; we will celebrate your achievement in person when we are permitted to do so. Until that time, please join me for a virtual celebration of our graduates on May 27 from 12:30 to 2:00.

For those who are not graduating, we hope that you will use the summer as an opportunity to catch up or get ahead on your academic work. Visit York’s website for more information about our summer sessions. And it’s not too early to plan for the fall semester – be sure to visit the advisement center for more information.

I wish you a happy, healthy summer. Thank you for choosing York College.

Be well,

Interim President Berenecea Johnson Eanes
