Distance Learning on Hold from Fri, Mar 27, through Wed, Apr 1

CUNY has enacted a Recalibration Period for Educational Equity that will allow colleges to continue their efforts to provide students with access to the equipment they need to complete their semester requirements under the uncommon and unforeseen circumstances we face.

The recalibration period will begin Friday, March 27, and continue through Wednesday April 1. During this time, distance learning will be on hold. Online instruction will resume on Thursday, April 2. Please see the Chancellor's full message for more details.

Adjusted Dates for Spring Recess: Wednesday, April 8, to Friday, April 10
Spring Recess will now run from Wednesday, April 8, through Friday, April 10. For faculty, staff and students whose religious observation extends into the week of April 13, as always, you have the right to request a religious exemption to observe the holiday.

Credit/No-Credit Policy Adjusted
Due to the unprecedented changes in our spring semester, CUNY has enacted flexible credit/no credit policy under which students will have 20 days after they receive their grades to decide if they want to convert any or all of letter grades they earn in classes to Credit/No-Credit grading. Pending approval by the CUNY Board of Trustees, the policy will go into effect April 1, 2020.

Some academic calendar deadlines have also been extended. Visit CUNY's continuity for students site for more information or view the updated academic calendar.
