York Alum Featured 'Forbes' Magazine

York Alum Robert Fernandez '13, who earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University earlier this year and is now in a Prestigious post-doctoral Program at Columbia University, supports under-represented Students through his co-founded mentorship program, Científico Latino. Dr. Fernandez is featured in a recent "Forbes" magazine article for his work through his non-profit.

Dr. Fernandez, who recently completed his Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University, says the organization helps students to enter and navigate STEM graduate school in the US. In the  Forbes article, Fernandez speaks on his 20-year journey as an undocumented immigrant and how mentorship changed his life.
