Celebrating Future Aviation Leaders at York College

Recently, York College proudly hosted the graduation ceremony for 350 students from the JFK Redevelopment Aviation and Aeronautics Academy. This free program, designed for scholars from grades one to twelve, has successfully graduated nearly 1,500 students since its inception in fall 2023.

The academy aims to introduce youth to STEM concepts related to aviation, aeronautics, and airport management, while also providing leadership and career opportunities in the industry. The program's curriculum includes lessons on aviation, airport design, robotics, coding, flight simulations, machine learning, and more.
