Title: Rapid Prototyping of Field Depolyable Biosensors

Field deployable wireless biosensors, capable of continuous operation in all weather conditions can be used to automate the surveillance tasks, and thus provide better and cheaper modes of real-time data acquisition.

The talk will present research that has been done so far to specify, design and engineer biosensors for (insecticide) chemical surveillance, (for example, of DDT, organophosphates, organochlorides, carbarmates and pyrethroids) and biological surveillance, (for example, of larvicide Bti).

Snacks will be provided and no prior knowledge of the subject is assumed.
