How do I...?

Library tutorials

...Find books at York College Library?

Use the online catalog to check to see if we own a book.

...Get books from other CUNY libraries (CLICS)?

CLICS lets you request books from other CUNY libraries right through the library catalog, Books and More.

...Read a citation?

In order to locate the item that is cited, you have to understand if it's a journal article or a book chapter.

...Use Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

Through interlibrary loan loan, you can request articles not available at York and books not available through CUNY.

Off-Campus Access

One-Click Access to Millions of Scholarly Articles
LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that provides instant links to full text articles as you do research on the web.

New Research Guides
New research guides have been prepared to help ease the changes between APA 6 and APA 7, and with searching OneSearch.

How to scan with your phone
Did you know that you can make PDFs with your phone?

CUNY Login Replacing Barcodes for Remote Access
The Library has transitioned from the use of the barcode to the CUNY Login for off-campus access to databases. (It's the same login used for Blackboard and CUNYfirst.)

Library Book Return
The Library now has an outdoor book drop for returning items outside the entrance to the loading dock on 160th Street.
