Now it is easier than ever to reserve a PC or a Study Room in the library using Cardinal Reserve.

What is Cardinal Reserve?

Cardinal Reserve is the York College’s Computer and Study Room’s Reservation System.

You can now easily book a group study space or a computer in the Library up to 7 days in advance on and off campus.

All you need to do is to follow the link in the Library’s home page and log in using your network username and password.

How do I book a Reservation?

It is simple to reserve a PC or a Study Room. Use your network credentials and log on to Cardinal Reserve the Library’s home page or go to the Cardinal Reserve webpage from any computer or mobile device:

  • Set - a date and time in the future for your reservation,
  • Select - an available computer,
  • Complete - your reservation.

Immediately after, you will receive an “Email booking receipt” confirming your reservation.  It’s that easy!

How do I claim my reservation?

For a PC, walk to the computer that you have reserved and Log in. The library has now been divided into Letter zones for easy finding.

You will be able to extend if no other reservation is in the queue for that PC.

For a Room, go to the Reference Desk with your “Email booking receipt” to gain access to the room.
