Queens Supreme Court's Fiscal Challenges Managed by York Alum

Honorable Jeremy Weinstein

The Honorable Jeremy Weinstein, Class of 1971, is the administrative judge of the Queens County Supreme Court’s civil division. He is in charge of case assignment to judges and non-judicial staff in the civil division. Weinstein serves as the supervisory authority of civil and housing court judges, along with more than 400 employees.

Ensuring that cases are heard in a timely manner has become a greater challenge in recent years, Weinstein said, because of budget cuts to the court system since the recent financial crisis.
