Dr. Paul Althaus began teaching at York College 38 years ago and was a highly respected Business and Accounting Professor. He is remembered by his colleagues across the disciplines as "a professor’s professor."
Dennis Moorman Scholarship Fund
The Dennis Moorman Scholarship provides talented and deserving students to pursue an education with the emphasis in music performance and/or music education.
Frank Pomilla Award for Science Teaching Excellence
Dr. Frank Pomilla, Emeritus Professor of Physics, was a founding member of York College. He was the first chair of the original Department of National Sciences. Professor Pomilla retired from York in 1992.
Kenneth G Adams Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Kenneth G. Adams Scholarship provides talented and deserving students the opportunity to pursue an education with emphasis in music performance and/or music education.
Leslie A. Lewis-Jack Schlein Professorship in Natural Sciences
We are celebrating the successful first phase of fundraising for the Leslie A. Lewis-Jack Schlein Professorship in Natural Sciences at York College. Drs. Schlein and Lewis have been colleagues at York College since 1973.
MSW Fund for Excellence
The Master’s of Social Work program fund was established as part of the MSW Program launch to supplement funds for the graduate program expenses and its related activities, as well as scholarships to support scholars enrolled in the MSW program.
Timothy J. Amrhein Theatre Arts Scholarship
Professor Amrhein was a distinguished faculty member who oversaw numerous theater productions. He began his service in the Fall 2000 term and repeatedly served as department chair 2012-2016.
