Unit Mission

The mission of Career Services is to effectively provide students with high-level learning opportunities that increase their global marketplace skills, by working with academic departments, integrating the college’s mission and continuing to grow our CUNY-wide and external partnerships.

10% increase of student internship placements over last year placement rate of 144 students (158 students).

Rationale for the Plan

Measuring the number of sophomore and junior students that will have professional resumes is necessary because the Career Services wants to ensure that students are professionally prepared to obtain career opportunities.

The rationale for outcomes one and two on increasing the number of internship opportunities and placements is to align with the University's Career Success Initiative.

Data Collection and Evaluation

The data will be collected throughout the semester for all three outcomes using Symplicity by Career Services.
