Unit Mission

The office of Marketing and Communications is the official voice of York College, responsible for managing communication with campus stakeholders, local and higher education communities and media. The office coordinates with media sources and manages and safeguards the York College, CUNY brand.

Measure

Marketing and Communications will create the form to be implemented by IT in the content management system. The form will roll out to selected users. We will also conduct a survey to measure the success of the pilot.

The design request form will be available online to pilot. 98 percent of stakeholders will participate in the pilot.


Rationale for the Plan

The process of submitting design request was using paper and emails which was cumbersome for the office and unreliable as we always had to verify information with the College stakeholder via phone or emails. The creation of the online form and successful pilot will eliminate this cumbersome process.

For the first two outcomes, we want to improve the services we provide and establish a benchmark to measure aspects such as time and satisfaction with the services. Customer satisfaction and timeliness has not been measured since the last few years.

Data Collection and Evaluation

Data collection will take place quarterly throughout the AY 2019-2020 based on response from faculty, students and staff. All staff members within the office of marketing and communications will be involved.
