Rationale for the Plan

The rationale behind the outcome on revised and expanded Factbook is to ensure that the College stakeholders have the detailed information on York College students as this may facilitate in planning and decision-making.

The rationale behind the monitoring report submission is to ensure that the College meets the deadline set by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

The rationale for assessing the assessment framework, process and activities is to ensure that the current practices and processes in place are working and to identify areas for improvements; further, the MSCHE 2019 visiting team also recommended that York assess the framework, process and activities in place.

Data Collection and Evaluation

The data collection will take place throughout AY 2019-2020 including Fall 2019 and Spring 2020.
