Rationale for the Plan

In order to increase retention rates and improve the students experience at York College CUNY, the Office of Student Academic Services (OSAS) is committed to fostering an environment that will aid our students in succeeding. In order to do this, OSAS recently implemented a new electronic service that will create better communication between our department and the students. Also, with the use of workshops, the OSAS department is creating a more personal relationships with the student body so that they can graduate on time.

Data Collection and Evaluation

Within the Office of Student Academic Services (OSAS), data collection is constantly taking place throughout the semester. The OSAS staff will view and enter the data. The unit coordinator will analyze and interpret the data for the current academic year.
