The schedule for the exams varies for each class; most likely, the class exams will be given at the end of October and the end of March. Daniele Musumeci, Zhu Zhou, Deb Chakravarti, and Bulbul Chakravarti will participate in the assessment.
Identify the assessment tool (provide rubrics as appropriate) [Open-ended Problem Rubric] -Exemplary/Mastery (5-4.5): After careful analysis of the question, requested and relevant concepts are completely found and applied in an appropriate way with sound strategies. Necessary figures are utilized to support the answer. -Acceptable/Developing (4.4-3.5): The answer generally shows a good demonstration for the question, but with mistakes. -Poor/Approaching (3.4-3): A portion of the answer is relevant but is not specific enough to properly address the chemical aspect requested in the question. -Attempted/Emerging (2.9-0): Mostly an irrelevant answer
-This assessment will give the program an indication of whether the student is receiving the required education at the appropriate level; it will also provide data to assess whether the student is prepared for the next level of the sequential classes in the curriculum map. Then, the Pharmaceutical Science Program will be able to develop those class curricula with a stronger conceptual linkage.
