Rationale for the Plan

The department has decided to tackle goals 4(Competence in written and oral communication) and 5(Ethics, including knowledge of financial regulations and professional codes of conduct) for AY2019-2020. This will enable the department to assess and follow-up on each of the goals and PSLOs multiple times within a 5-year assessment cycle. Based on the curriculum map, the auditing course (ACC 335) has been identified as a course that satisfy the program goals and PSLOs selected to assess.

Data Collection and Evaluation

The data for goal 4 competence in written and oral communication, PSLO 4.1 and PSLO 4.2 will be collected during Fall,2019 by Professor Geraldo Vasquez. Goal 5 PSLO 5.1 will be collected during the Spring, 2020 by Professor Bhorosay. The department members will be involved in the analysis and interpretation of the data collected.
