To demonstrate a capacity for self evaluation of personal skills and needs, students are required to gain a clear understanding of working in unfamiliar and unknown territories. Geol 211 being a gateway core course with an overwhelming emphasis on observational and communication skills, the necessity for having solid foundation base possessing critical thinking and multiple working hypotheses skills is of utmost consideration in the geoscience program.
