This Town Hall meeting will engage members of the college community in discussing critical issues and questions related to the following topics:

  • What are the implications of President Trump’s Responses to Charlottesville?
  • How serious is the threat of Neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups?
  • What should be done with Confederate statues and monuments?
  • What should be done with the statues of Founding Fathers who were slave owners?
  • What should be done with statues like that of Christopher Columbus in New York City?
  • How do we heal the nation from the legacy of white supremacy, bigotry, and slavery?
  • All are invited to attend the event and to get involved in the discussion.
