Careers in Aging: The Continuum of Care

The Gerontology program and the Physician Assistant program are collaborating on a special event. I hope that this will be the first of many events to promote awareness about careers in aging services and interdisciplinary education about aging at York College.

      For a panel Discussion on:

      • the education, training, and skills that got them to their current roles;
      • how they work and collaborate with other disciplines as part of their work;
      • the rewards and challenges of working with older adults as clients, and
      • how they see their fields and services developing in the future.

        Additional materials from the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) will be available for students, as well as light food and beverages.
