Zoom meeting Closed Captioning
How to use Zoom meeting closed captioning or live transcript.
In order to access Zoom meeting's auto-generated closed captioning also called live transcript, your professor has to enable it.
- Once your professor enabled automatic closed captioning, when someone is speaking, you will see live transcript displayed at the bottom of the meeting window. If you don't see it, it means that your professor hasn't enabled it. Please ask your professor to enable it if you need it.
- You will also see the CC/Live Transcript icon on the meeting control bar at the bottom. Click on it to "Hide Subtitle" if you don't need it, to view full transcript, or to access the "Subtitle Settings" to change the text size of your closed captioning.
- If you want to save the full transcript, click "View Full Transcript" as shown in the above screenshot, the transcript will appear on the right of your screen. Click "Save Transcript" button at the bottom to save the transcript. If you want to save the transcript of the entire Zoom session, click "Save Transcript" at the end of the session.
