Hello Graduating Students,

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! We are so excited and proud to celebrate this milestone with you, your family and friends!

Mark Your Calendars! Your Commencement is on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at UBS Arena and we hope you will be there to walk across the stage in honor of everything you’ve accomplished!

While graduation is the pinnacle day of your celebration, there are other important dates leading up to your special day!

Priority Dates for Graduates

Marching Orders - If you plan to attend the commencement ceremony and want tickets, You Must register for Marching Orders. Marching Orders Is a Registration System that Informs Us Whether You Plan to Attend and Cross the Stage at Commencement. Most Importantly, This Data Base Is Used to Distribute Digital Tickets in May for The Ceremony on June 1. 

The Marching Orders System Opens April 7 and The Deadline to Register Is May 6, 2023. You Will Receive an Email from Commencement@york.cuny.edu to Your Preferred Email in CUNY First. Please Follow the Prompts.

Caps and Gowns - Caps and Gowns Are Available Through Jostens – Cap and Gown — York College / CUNY- the System Opens January 25 and The Deadline to Place an Order and Receive It in Time for Graduation Is April 21, 2023. if You Order After the Deadline, Expedited Shipping Fees May Apply.

Senior Portraits – Portraits Will Be Taken on Tuesday, March 28 - Friday, March 31 from 10:00 Am - 7:00 Pm and On Saturday, April 1 from 10:00 Am - 3:00 Pm.

Graduate Fun

Senior Salute - Join the Fun and Celebrate with The Class of 2023 on April 18 and April 19 11 Am-7 Pm.
