  • African American Studies Scholarship

    The purpose of this Scholarship is to encourage and recognize the student with the highest academic excellence within the African American Studies or Black Studies majors.

  • Carol Monica Small Award

    To provide an award to purchase books for a student majoring in Political Science

  • Carolyn Kirkpatrick Award

    The purpose of this award is for general excellence in English studies to provide deserving students with the opportunity to receive the finest education in English studies. No essay or letters of recommendation are required.

  • Chemistry Scholarship

    The purpose of this scholarship is to help with the cost of textbooks for chemistry courses.Will be awarded to TWO students.

  • Delfor Lodge Accounting Scholarship

    To recognize an accounting student with strong academic potential and financial need.

  • Dennis Moorman Scholarship

    Established in memory of Dr. Denis Moorman, Professor of Music at York College. The scholarship provides talented and deserving students the opportunity to pursue a music education with emphasis in Jazz.

  • Dominick V. DiGangi Behavioral Sciences Scholarship in Preventive Law & Internship

    To provide support to students interested in preventive law with an emphasis on preventive law for the elderly.

  • Dr. Che - Tsao Huang Communication Technology Award

    To encourage and recognize an outstanding communication technology graduate

  • Elena Borstein Award

    Funded by Painter Elena Borstein, a former member of the faculty of Performing and Fine Arts. this scholarship was established to support talented and promising Fine Arts majors and minors with at least Junior standing.

  • Frank Pomilla Award for Science Teaching Scholarship

    This award is in honor of Dr. Frank Pomilla, Emeritus Professor of Physics and a founding member of York College. He was the first chair of the original Department of Natural Sciences. He retired from York in 1992. With the assistance of his colleagues and friends, his children have established this award in honor of Dr. Pomilla's love and dedication to York College and his students. The purpose of this award is to recognize academic excellence and to provide financial aid to students who have made a commitment to teach science, especially physics.

  • Hortense Nash Memorial Award

    To provide cash awards to two lower seniors majoring in English and English Education who have the highest overall GPAs.

  • JFK Air Cargo Association for Winter/Summer Scholarship

    Assistance provided by the JFK Air Cargo Association to fund for the Winter 2019 session courses for up to 6 students.

  • Kenneth G. Adams

    To provide talented and deserving students the opportunity to pursue a music education with emphasis in music performance and music education.

  • Louis and Rachel Rudin Foundation Scholarship

    Assistance for a current Nursing major (GENNURS, NURS-BS, or NURS-QCC-BS) who meets all eligibility requirements. Assistance will go to college tuition and textbooks.

  • Mortimer J. Gold Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship was established to support one academically promising sophomore majoring in Communication Technology. The award may be used toward tuition and fees, or if tuition and fees are covered by other means, to help purchase books and educational expenses.
