Broccoli with Garlic Butter
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds broccoli (fresh and chopped)
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/3 cup cashews (chopped)
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper (grounded)
Directions:
Boil the broccoli for 5 minutes, making sure it remains crisp not tender. Melt butter in frying pan. Put all the ingredients into the frying pan except the cashews. Toss garlic, butter, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar and sugar. Allow to simmer for 2 minutes. Fry broccoli in butter for 2 minutes and mix all the cooked ingredients together. Top with cashews.
Suggestions:
Serve with steamed rice.
Preparation time: 20 minutes.
Cooking time: 15 minutes.
