Office of Planning and Budget
The Office of Planning and Budget at York College, CUNY, reviews all financial and budgetary transactions to ensure accurate and timely information is distributed in accordance with established College policies and procedures. We provide leadership to the campus community in financial management and stewardship by safeguarding the assets of the College. We achieve our mission by conducting audits (Business Office) of College business transactions, by developing and maintaining budgetary procedures (Budget Office), by managing College purchasing, contracts and property (Purchasing, Contracts & Property Management Office) and by collection and disbursement of funds (Bursar) in compliance with the policies of York College and the CUNY system.
It is the mission of the Bursar’s office to manage financial transactions between students, the College and the Community in a courteous and professional manner. In this capacity, the Bursar’s Office will adhere to departmental, College, State and Federal policies and procedures.
