York College Public Safety Department is now a member of NYC Emergency Management Partners in Preparedness program. NYCEM plans and prepares for emergencies, educates the public about preparedness, coordinates response and recovery, and collects and disseminates emergency information.

Email Scam Alert

Recently students have been targeted by email scams/fraud centering on employment "opportunities." These type of emails should not be responded to and should be reported to Career Services or to Public Safety.

Any company that requests or requires you to send or wire any money to them as a condition of employment should be investigated before any transaction is made. If you have any questions regarding this matter please contact the York College Office of Career Services.
