The York College Department of Performing and Fine Arts will host a series of professional development workshops in conjunction with the Southeast Queens Biennial: A Locus of Moving Points. The events include:

  • 11am – 1pm / Portfolio Reviews:
    Natalie Angles, Residency Unlimited
    John Cloud Kaiser, Materials for the Arts
    Hitomi Hiwasaki, Queens Museum
    Qiana Mestrick, Photographer, writer, digital marketer
    Manon Slome, No Longer Empty
  • Morning Workshops:
    • 11am-12pm: Art for political organizing/mobilization (People’s Climate March as case study), Raquel de Anda, No Longer Empty
    • 12pm-1pm: Grant writing for artists, Molaundo Jones, Queens Council on the Arts
  • 1pm – 2pm: Lunch & Networking
    Lunch provided by NLE Lab and York College Fine Arts Gallery
