Finding Bb and Logging in for the first time

If you have already claimed your CUNYfirst account

Go to the York College website. Click “Faculty/Staff”, then, in the “Online Services” column on the left, click “Blackboard”.  In the CUNY Login Blackboard page, use your CUNYfirst username@login.cuny.edu as the username and your CUNYfirst password to login to Blackboard.

If you not yet claimed your CUNYfirst account

Go to the York College website. Click “Faculty/Staff”, then, in the “Online Services” column on the left, click “CUNY First”. On the “CUNYfirst Login” page click “New User”. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the registration process. Now go back to the York College website. Click “Faculty/Staff” on the top banner, and in the “Online Services” column click Blackboard. Use your CUNYfirst username@login.cuny.edu and password to log in to Bb.

For Microsoft Word docs: make sure to use one of Word’s 3 ADA (American with Disabilities Act) compliant fonts: Arial, Helvetica, and Verdana. For PDF documents, use Adobe Acrobat Professional to run Accessibility Checker. To have Adobe Acrobat Professional installed on your computer, open a ticket in YConnect (click on the Faculty/Staff tab on the York College website, then on IT Self Service in the Online Services column on the left).
